I have been vegan for a few months now, I kind of just did it overnight, I decided I didn't want to be a part of the cruelty towards animals,and I realized I didn't have to be and I SHOULDN'T BE!

But it’s still legal to import animal tested cosmetics from other parts of the world.The plan was that there would be a law against that too, that would start in 2013. But now it seems like there will be some wormholes, that won’t be corrected during the coming ten years.But if there are more people that sign this petition, we may have something to say about that!

The calves are taken from their mothers just days after birth so their milk can be sold to people. Mother cows often cry for days for their missing baby. Most of the calves end up on veal farms, where these babies are chained by the neck in crates and slaughtered when they are just 12 to 16 weeks old. Consuming dairy products keeps this system in place and makes the veal industry possible.

I have two thoughts on this..

1) The fact that KFC isn’t owning up to the nastyness of this and the fact that they are saying it is a kidney and not a brain (Which it is CLEARLY a brain!), is extremely idiotic. I am sure the 19 year old student didn’t want a KIDNEY in his bucket of chicken either!

2) I don’t understand why the idea of eating a brain is shocking or disgusting to a carnivore, they will eat liver, kidney, legs, and god knows what else, but when it comes down to the brain it’s suddenly ridiculous??
but I suppose this would be quiet a shocking way to be faced with your first brain meal..
